O PRIMEIRO LICEU DE CHAVES / THE FIRST HIGH SCHOOL

A nossa casa foi o primeiro Liceu de Chaves, criado em 1903. 

No quarto onde vai dormir, uma antiga sala de aula, já se ensinou Latim, História ou Geografia. 

No jardim onde vai descansar ou ler o seu livro, o antigo recreio, as correrias e as risadas das crianças já ecoaram por toda a cidade.

Our house was the first high school in Chaves, starting in 1903.

In the room where you will sleep, a former classroom, Latin, History and Geography were once taught.

In the garden where you will relax or read your book, the former playground, the running and laughter of children once echoed throughout the city.

MURALHA MEDIEVAL DE CHAVES /THE MEDIEVAL WALLS

Mas não só.

Venha também dormir "em cima" de um Monumento Nacional, pois a nossa casa está inserida na muralha medieval do Castelo de Chaves, cujo início de construção remonta a D. Afonso III no ano de 1258.

O Castelo e a sua muralha são Monumento Nacional desde 1938.
